Stay away! This is my absolute favorite real Mexican restaurant north of the City! If you find it then everyone else will too and then it won't be my best kept secret. 😉

Food is really good. Salsa comes in many varieties mild to extremely hot. Also has really great service. Two styles of service, serve yourself tacos with outside seating. Order at the register and the waitress will bring to table. Music was kinda loud so speak up so when giving your food order they dont make mistakes.

Small chain restaurant where the locals go. I wish the chips were complimentary, (correction 1/03/20 now chips are complimentary) but overall good food, good prices, great burritos, free refills on fountain drinks and you choose from one of their killer salsas...similar to the old Pelayos. There is also a taco bar outside with seating.

Food was good, tasted like I was at a relative's house. The one star less is because it wasn't well air conditioned inside. I ordered a shrimp crispy taco which I highly recommend. The nachos were okay, I'd give that three stars. The torta ahogada was too soggy, I'd give that three stars too.

Xicana here and recently moved to VV from SF. This is the best, most authentic taqueria i’ve found so far. Only issue I’ve had (and if it continues, will be a deal breaker)is when calling for take out, the same lady answers & is always super rude. I don’t give a sh*t if you’re having a bad day or if it’s busy. Learn some FN manners & treat your customers right because ultimately we’re where ur paycheck comes from! Other than the rude mujer, food is authentic and is always good. And the taquerio on the patio on Friday’s & Saturday’s is a bonus.
